Easy & delicious way to eat carrots with the joy of cutting the material

What is your favorite way to eat carrots?

I got to know a very easy & delicious recipe for carrots so I cannot wait to share it with you.

That is a Honey Carrot Marinade!


The joy is not only eating. But also it comes when I am cutting carrots. You will understand what I mean when you are doing it.


The comfortable toughness when the knife goes into the material…


We can see our effort is producing the result quickly. We see shredded carrots as much as our effort invested…


The sound that the friction creates between the knife and the material…


So let’s begin!


How to select good carrots.


1. Choose one with shiny and bright orange in color

2. If leaves were cut off, the smaller the core is (the circle where leaves come out), the softer the carrot is.




How to shred a carrot with fun

1. Cut a carrot like the photo below to create a flat side facet so that we can place the carrot stable.




2. Cut the carrot diagonally




3. Place the carrot like the photo below, and start cutting it into fine and thin pieces




*You don’t have to peel it.

*I usually add the long piece in the photo 1. into photo 3.



Ingredients (depends on the size of the carrot)


1. Carrot :1

2. Honey: 2 tablespoons

3. Vinegar: 1-2 tablespoons

4. Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

5. Black pepper/Long pepper: a little

6. Salt: a little



Add 2 to 6 into the shredded carrot. Mix and leave it for 5-10 minutes in a fridge. That's it.


You can keep it for about 3 days in the fridge but I am sure you will finish before three days pass.

I have the liquid left at the bottom too. It is nutritious and delicious.





Magic spice: Long pepper

You can use long pepper instead of black pepper.



What is long pepper?

Long pepper is a spice originally from India.

Long pepper keeps you warm. Long pepper contains piperine, which widens capillary vessels, improving our blood circulation. It is much more effective than ginger in keeping you warm. So, if you want to make yourself warm, try long pepper. You can use it like black pepper. I put a little bit of long pepper into hot drinks so that I can keep myself warm.


When you are warm, your immune system works more efficiently.
