5 easy & appetizing ways to eat sesame every day without getting bored

If you want to live a long and healthy life, avoiding medicine is a good idea. Sesame is one of the helpful foods that can help with this. In Japan, sesame was used as a source of protein after the introduction of Buddhism, as meat was not eaten.

Sesame is a go-to food for skin issues such as

angular cheilitis,

hangnail,

dry skin,

And so on.

It contains vitamin B2 and vitamin E, which can improve skin conditions. Sesame is also beneficial for other physical issues as it contains linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that can lower blood cholesterol. It's a good idea to take sesame every day for overall health benefits.

The challenge with taking sesame every day is finding ways to keep it interesting

So, today, I will introduce 5 simple ways to take sesame, apart from spreading it on bread😉

It's better to take sesame powder or paste instead of whole sesame with skin because the skin is hard to digest, and nutrients inside are not absorbed.

I prefer black sesame paste, which is easy to find at my local supermarket, but white or brown sesame paste or powder can also be used.

1. Add in soup

Add sesame paste to soup. Black sesame paste may spoil the soup's color, but it’s worth doing it. White sesame paste can be used instead, if you mind the color.

Adding sesame paste to soup can make it tastier and more nutritious.

I often mix sesame paste into miso soup. The photo is burdock potage with black sesame paste.

2. Soya milk with sesame paste

Make soya milk with sesame paste. Mix soya milk and sesame paste together in a cup. Heat the soya milk first if you prefer it hot. Add honey or sugar if desired.

3. Yogurt with sesame paste

Add sesame paste to yogurt. Mix sesame paste with yogurt and add honey or sugar if desired.

4. Sesame dressing

Make sesame dressing. Mix sesame paste, miso paste, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar (one tablespoon of each) together and use it as dressing on any salad.

5. Eat it as it is!

Eat sesame paste as it is. One scoop of sesame paste a day is enough. Savor it mindfully.

I am sure you can try at least one of them. And if you continue this, you will see the difference in your body.

While sesame is healthy, overeating it can cause weight gain, skin issues, anemia, and other health problems. So, please consume sesame in moderation.
